Welcome To Spooktober!



Halloween is weird this year.


Some have been saying it’s been outright cancelled, which I can’t quite agree with, but it is most certainly fucking weird. With the coronavirus still not under control and life still being socially distanced, Halloween looks a lot different. But that doesn’t mean it’s cancelled. 


Just like with everything else this year, we have to figure out how to make our celebrations work in this odd and rare climate and I’ve decided to do my part. For the rest of the month I will be publishing a new work, including the start of a new ongoing non-fiction series, every Saturday. So come back each weekend and get your spook on with us!


As a bonus I’ve included below a Halloween party playlist that has served me quite well over the years, so however you decide to celebrate this year you’ll at least have a boppin soundtrack.

  Part I: Party In The USA It was 7pm and James was sitting in a booth in the diner that he’d been frequenting lately, nursing a cup of black coffee. His head was killing him, he was sweating profusely, and he felt freezing cold despite being in a small southwestern town at the ass end of summer and wearing a denim jacket. My Wedding Story

Walking down those creaky wooden stairs, a spring in my step, I waved to Mr. Donovan.
